Peter Jones
Director
Peter began his career within the fresh produce industry working for Marks & Spencer taking up long standing roles within the technical management side of the business. Following on from M&S, Peter continued working within the technical management and market and product development side of the fresh produce sector taking on senior management positions within Al Pharaana (Egypt), Geest Plc & Exotic Farm Produce.
Since 1990 Peter has worked as a specialist consultant within the fresh produce sector. He has been instrumental in the development, creation and management of a series of challenging projects; where new products and markets have been created, systems and procedures have been implemented and commercial successes gained by his clients who have spanned the whole supply chain; from retail buyer, supplier, grower, agency and logistics handler.
Peter has been at the forefront in the conception of Omnia Management and hopes to consolidate and share with clients his substantial experience in managing an effective supply chain. “What makes Omnia unique is the full spectrum of solutions and services we can offer our clients. Clive Lawrance
Director
From the outset Clive has had a head for logistics, he has undertaken senior Global Logistics Management and Managing Director roles within international organisations such as British Airways, BOC,& The Bakkavor Group & Ciel Logistics.
In each of his roles Clive has created, implemented and designed highly sustainable supply chains for the perishable goods sector. In his capacity as Managing Director for World Cargo Handling (British Airways) Clive created and managed a cargo handling facility at Heathrow. Responsible for 84 staff, this handling centre for BA handled fresh produce coming through Heathrow. The facility saw a rapid growth and saw its handling of perishable produce grow from 29,000 to 60,000 tonnes within its first 3 years of operation.
Clive’s ability to create and develop cargo handling facilities for World Cargo led to him leading a £15 million project to design, build and manage the creation of an Inspection Post at Heathrow. As chair for this project, Clive liaised with government agencies, airlines, airport officials and the client to produce a state of the art inspection post at Heathrow. The procedures and logistical layout of this facility has been adopted by other international airports around the world.
